Questions, answered honestly.
Pricing, contracts, coverage, and how we work — no marketing fog.
The honest answers.
What does "right-sized IT" actually mean?
It means matching your IT spend to your real needs — not a sales quota. We audit the tools and subscriptions you already pay for, consolidate overlap, drop what you don’t use, and only add what genuinely reduces risk or saves time. You get a clear picture of what to keep, cut, or do yourself.
How is StackSavr different from a typical MSP?
Two things: transparent flat pricing instead of surprise invoices, and honesty about DIY. We’ll tell you which IT tasks you can handle in-house and reserve our time for the work that truly needs a pro. The goal is to lower your total spend, not maximize our invoice.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. Managed plans are month-to-month per seat. We also offer break/fix hourly and project-based work with no retainer for businesses that aren’t ready for a managed plan.
What areas do you serve?
We focus on NW Indiana — St John, Schererville, Dyer, Munster, and Crown Point as our core area, plus Cedar Lake, Hobart, Merrillville, and Valparaiso. Many services are delivered remotely, so we can support businesses beyond that radius too.
What should IT cost my business?
It varies, but most businesses are overspending on overlapping subscriptions and reactive break/fix calls. A right-sized managed plan usually lands at a predictable per-seat rate that’s lower than the patchwork it replaces. Book a free assessment and we’ll show you the numbers for your business.
Who actually does the work?
Experienced engineers with a decade-plus of enterprise IT behind them — not a tier-1 call center reading a script. When you contact StackSavr, you talk to someone who can actually fix the problem.
Can you work with the systems we already have?
Almost always. We manage Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, Windows and cloud Active Directory, common firewalls and Wi-Fi (Fortinet, UniFi, Cisco Meraki), and most business apps. We start by working with what you have, then improve it where it pays off.
What happens in a free IT assessment?
We review your current tools, spend, security posture, and pain points — then give you a plain-language summary of what’s solid, what’s at risk, and where you’re overpaying. There’s no obligation; you keep the findings either way.
